Cornelius The First
About
Cornelius and his friends are ready for a day of dodgy turkey legs, plastic swords, and fake accents at the Baybridge Medieval Renaissance Fair. What they are not ready for is a cranky horse, a spectacularly bad decision, and Cornelius waking up in Tudor England… inside the body of Henry VIII.
One minute he's a disaster-prone kid in costume. The next, he's a notoriously grumpy king with a real crown, a real castle, and a court full of people who somehow think he knows what he's doing.
Juggling suspicious advisors, baffled queens, and a royal temper that doesn't feel like his, Cornelius has to fake his way through banquets, politics, and very questionable Tudor hygiene long enough to find a way home.
Can a modern kid with a talent for catastrophe survive life as Henry VIII—without losing his head, wrecking history, or accidentally changing it? What the duck?
